Our Inpatient Rehabilitation features a multi-disciplinary approach, combining the benefits of occupational, speech and physical therapy as well as social services and discharge planning, with round-the-clock nursing care. Utilizing the industry’s latest techniques, equipment and services specifically designed to speed recovery, the Gateway staff meets with all new patients to develop a structured care plan based on each person’s individual requirements.

No preprogrammed regimens exist at Gateway Rehabilitation Hospital. Supervised by our Rehabilitation Medical director, original treatment plans are created from expertise shared by therapists, case managers and nurses so that all needs are met. Progressive care programs are discussed and reevaluated regularly by staff and physicians who closely monitor patient progress toward returning home and to increased independence.

Candidates for our Inpatient Therapy program will receive two therapy disciplines at least three hours a day.These include physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
